PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site or upload video or audio content onto our Servers, we may automatically collect certain information from your device, including without limitation information about your web browser and I.P. address. As you browse the Site or upload video or audio content onto our Servers, we may collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site (such collected information is hereinafter referred to as the “Device Information”).
We may use “cookies” on our Site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a Site visitor’s hard drive, which may be used by us to help us improve our Servers, our Site and your access to it, and which identifies repeat visitors to our Site. We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risks and, more generally, to improve and optimize our Site and Servers (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site and our Servers).

When you make a purchase through our Site, we may maintain Order Information for our records, unless and until you ask us to delete such information.

GOVERNING LAW
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
PERSONAL INFORMATION CONSENT
To make our platform work properly, we require certain information about you. If
you have been invited to Searchie by a content creator and/or account owner, we are collecting this information on their
behalf.
Personal Information: your name, email address, non-specific location information, usage info,
redacted payment details and information you volunteer to us.
Use: We use personal information for authentication purposes, to create an account profile for you,
to communicate with you, to bill and to improve the quality of our services. Your personal
information may be shared with your content creator and/or account owner (if applicable) as they may direct us, and our
subcontractors, including our billing agent, as needed to operate and improve the platform, or as
we may be required by law.
Data Retention: We retain personal information according to our Data Retention policy here.
We store our data in Canada and the United States, where it is subject to local laws and
authorities.
We promise to keep your personal information safe and not to disclose your personal
information except as set out above.

YOUR RIGHTS
Under applicable law, you have the following rights:
Access to your information: You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correcting your information: We want to have accurate personal information about you. Please contact us if you think the personal information we hold is not up to date or correct and we will correct it for you.
Deletion of your information: You have the right to ask us to delete personal information about you if it no longer is required for the purpose it was collected, you have withdrawn your consent, you have a valid objection to us using your personal information, or our use of your personal information is contrary to law or our other legal obligations.
Objecting to how we may use your information: You have the right at any time to require us to stop using your personal information for direct marketing purposes. In addition, where we use your personal information on legitimate interest grounds then, if you ask us to, we will stop using that personal information unless there are overriding legitimate grounds to continue.
Restricting how we may use your information: In some cases, you may ask us to restrict how we use your personal information. Data Controller and Processors
We are the data Processors as we are collecting and using your Personal Data on behalf of content creators and/or account owners. Our client's the content creators and/or account owners are the data controllers. We use trusted third parties as our data processors for technical and organizational purposes, including for payments and email marketing. We use reasonable efforts to make sure our data processors are GDPR CCPA and SOC2 compliant.
